Comments: On occasion I find myself totally in love with an author's style of writing. When I read Strobel it's almost like sitting across from him at the dinner table listening to him tell a story. So you may ask then, "Why did I give this book just the rating of only Middle of the Road ?". In this book Lee Strobel attempts to tackle eight of the most common objections to Christianity in a mere 250 pages - a challenge for anyone. The topics range from Suffering and the Existence of Hell, to Miracles and Evolution. Although the book clearly demonstrates that Strobel and his expert witnesses have spent time in deep thought on each of the objections, I feel that not all of the angles for each objection was covered with completeness. I would have rather had him focus on fewer objections. Having stated that, it's a good book to read if you want to expose yourself to some of the criticisms of Christianity or are looking for a starting point to resolve some of the difficulties that you or someone you know might be having with the faith.
