Comments: This book is about evolutionary theory applied to the mind of humans. Pinker uses attempt to uses the Computation Theory of the mind to explain how it works! He tackles subjects like vision, abstract thought and feelings. I found the first three quarters of the book to be great but was very disappointed when Pinker attempted to describe how the feeling of love could have evolved. I found his position to be unconvincing at best. Aside from that the book was very well written and contains a good amount of information that could be consider "pro-intelligent design" by those who don't consider themselves to be naturalists.
